After 22 years, and a great deal of reflection, I have made the decision to step down from my position of Managing Director at Adams. It is time for new energy and strategies to take the company forward in this ever-changing world of recruitment. As hard as it is for me to leave, I am comforted by the knowledge that Adams could not be in better hands.
I am extremely pleased and happy to inform you that Laura Quick and Florin Buduroi have become partners and shareholders of Adams Multilingual Recruitment and as of February 1, 2019 they will be responsible for the day to day running of the company. Florin will take over the role of Managing Director and Laura will be Executive Director.
Laura and Florin have worked for Adams for many years. They are very excited about heading up this new chapter in the history of Adams and are determined to make the company an even stronger player in the international recruitment market. They are totally committed to Adams and will continue to work tirelessly, with the team, in the future and ensure that our clients and candidates receive an exceptional service.
So where does that leave me? I will stop working on June 30, 2019 but remain a shareholder and will still be involved with the business albeit less intensely. It will be difficult to leave, after all it has been my (second) home and family and my passion for the past 22 years. However, I believe with my whole heart that this is the right decision for Adams.
It has been an amazing journey and Adams has grown from a one-man band to a company with two offices and 24 staff. I can look back with pride at what we have achieved and whilst the years have brought challenges as well as successes, work has always been a pleasure and a lot of fun, but most of all I have been fortunate enough to work with fantastic talented people. It is a special place to work and I am sure the drive and enthusiasm for recruitment will continue along with the surety that we strive to do our best for everyone we come into contact with.
I wish you all the best for the future and who know knows when our paths may cross again.
Kind regards,
Maureen Adam
