As we wrap up 2025, one thing is clear: the Dutch labour market didn’t stand still. Hiring slowed, but demand for skilled professionals stayed strong. Multilingual, tech and specialist roles remained hard to fill, even as companies grew more cautiously. Salaries kept rising, and digital change, especially the growing use of AI in HR and recruitment, continued to reshape how employers attract and keep talent.
In this context, we at Adams Multilingual Recruitment stayed close to our clients and candidates, adapting to shifting expectations and labour law changes while helping international organisations hire and retain teams in the Netherlands.
Our recruitment achievements
In 2025, we were proud to support 130 job seekers in finding their next role and to work closely with 60 active clients across the Netherlands.

Our end-of-year breakdown shows that demand stayed strongest for roles in BDR and Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance and HR, with FMCG, Entertainment, Consumer Retail, Travel and Insurance leading the way as top hiring industries.
As a multilingual recruitment agency, we always keep a close eye on our languages. English remained the most in-demand language, followed by Dutch, German, French and Korean, reflecting the continued international focus of our clients. Most hires were made into mid-to senior-level roles (70%), while only 30% were entry or junior roles, a significant decrease in comparison to previous years.
New job portal
This year, we’ve leveled up our recruitment technology. To better serve our candidates and clients, we’ve moved to a new ATS and built a fully integrated job portal. This upgrade ensures a smoother, faster, and more user-friendly process for every candidate who applies through our website.

In-person events and client meetings
One of our primary objectives this year was to prioritise face-to-face connections with our clients and candidates. These personal interactions fuel our passion and drive us to fulfill our mission of providing exceptional service. Beyond attending dozens of events, we were proud to also co-host a successful event alongside one of our long-term partners.

Online webinars
To reach a broader audience and share our expertise, we also hosted a series of webinars for job seekers. We shared our best advice on navigating the Dutch job market, crafting a CV for local employers, and the essential steps for a successful relocation to the Netherlands.

Team outing to Edinburgh
For our annual outing, we spent two amazing days in Edinburgh. We packed a lot in: a city tour, a Murder Mystery dinner, bagpipe and Scottish dancing classes, and of course a mandatory stop at the Scotch Whisky Experience next to Edinburgh Castle.
