Our client, a global leader in innovative graphic signage materials, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Germany to join their expanding EMEA sales team. This position plays a key role in strengthening the company’s presence across Germany, supporting both distribution partners and end customers with high-quality product solutions and sales expertise.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed annual sales, margin, and growth targets across the German market.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional business plan aligned with EMEA marketing objectives.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Deliver in-depth product training and ongoing support to distribution partners, ensuring a high level of knowledge and sales readiness.
- Set and monitor performance goals for distribution partners and guide their achievement.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients and distributors.
- Provide strategic recommendations to distributors to maximize market penetration and business growth.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, managing sales activities from initial contact through to closure.
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings across Germany and Europe as required.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer and activity data using CRM systems.
- Collaborate with EMEA sales leadership by providing insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Manage administrative responsibilities, including expense reporting, sales forecasting, and regional planning.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the graphics signage, digital print media, or wide-format printing industry.
- Strong expertise in consultative and solution-based selling techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related technical field preferred.
- Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Prior experience working with technical coatings, laminations, or digital printing methods (solvent, eco-solvent, latex, UV) is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a high level of autonomy, including up to 80% travel within Germany and Europe.
- Valid international driving license and passport required.
- Existing network of contacts among distributors, converters, OEMs, or key end customers within the German signage or printing industry is highly desirable.
- A proactive “hunter” sales mentality — focused on driving new business growth rather than only maintaining existing accounts.
