Online Associate Sales Manager (Germany and Netherlands).

Our client is a market leader in the Consumer electronics industry. Their history and heritage goes back almost 140 years and they remain a family owned business in the USA.

They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Online Associate Sales Manager to join their Retail Sales team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and optimizing their product presence and promotions with online resellers, such as Otto.de, Bol.com and Coolblue, implementing strategies to increase sales and improve customer engagement. Furthermore, the role manages existing presence in 3P marketplaces (Bol.com) and future roll outs of the company’s presence in other EU 3P marketplaces.

POSITION PROFILE                          

The Online Associate Sales Manager will be part of a Retail Sales Team comprising of 6 people and initiates digital activities including, but not limited to:

  • Manage all online sales activities for the Dutch and German Pure Players excl Amazon
  • Develop and execute online sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up to date with industry trends and competition
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, partners and 3P operators and supporting companies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and operations, to drive online sales growth
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of online sales performance and provide insights for decision making
  • Manage the online sales budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize return on investment
  • Develop and execute short and mid-term plans to extend their footprint with relevant Pure Players and to ensure presence at relevant 3P platforms.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
 

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in ecommerce
  • In-depth knowledge of the German and Dutch ecommerce (consumer electronics) markets
  • Ideally fluent in Dutch and English, proficient in German. Or fluency in German and proficient in Dutch.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing online sales and driving growth
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
