We are looking for an experienced Demand Planner to join our client, which is growing rapidly in Europe! Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can take the initiative for your work? Then, this could be for you!
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, ensuring product availability, and supporting efficient inventory management across multiple sales channels. By collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain colleagues, you will play a key role in meeting customer needs while optimizing stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts for existing customers across diverse sales channels
- Analyse historical sales data, customer purchase behaviour, promotional activities, and market trends to refine forecasts
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to incorporate customer insights, campaigns, and product launches into demand planning
- Collaborate with Supply Chain colleagues both locally and internationally to align demand plans with supply capabilities and lead times
- Identify and mitigate risks related to demand fluctuations, forecast accuracy, and product availability
- Prepare regular demand planning reports and present forecast updates to management
- Continuously improve forecast accuracy through root cause analysis of deviations
- Ensure demand planning processes support optimal inventory levels, minimizing both stock-outs and excess inventory
- Contribute to the development of tools, systems, and best practices within the Supply Chain Management team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain (FMCG or food industry experience is a plus)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with demand planning tools is an advantage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English and Korean is a must
- Knowledge of European retail and wholesale distribution channels is preferred
