Are you a Dutch-speaking customer support professional looking for a role where quality matters more than ticket volume, and where you are trusted to think for yourself from day one? We are looking for a Customer Support Representative on behalf of our client, a mission-driven, sustainable mobility company headquartered in Amsterdam.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • Handle inbound customer contacts in Dutch and English across multiple channels: phone, email, WhatsApp, and in-app messaging
  • Identify what each customer needs and guide them through the company's services, features, and basic technical issues
  • Manage contacts efficiently within defined handling targets while keeping the tone warm, personal, and consistent
  • Apply basic troubleshooting steps when automated alerts indicate a service issue, and escalate to an engineer when needed
  • Log issues, recurring feedback, and feature requests accurately in internal systems to feed into continuous improvement
  • Proactively flag patterns or process gaps and suggest practical improvements rather than waiting for direction

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work with product, operations, and technical teams to resolve cases that require internal input or escalation
  • Contribute to team projects and follow-up initiatives aimed at improving the overall customer experience
  • Step in to support colleagues during busy periods and cover for one another when needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • Near-native Dutch and professional fluency in English
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar customer-facing role
  • Comfortable handling customer contacts across phone, email, WhatsApp, and in-app channels
  • Self-sufficient working style, able to stay productive without close day-to-day supervision
  • Comfortable following structured processes while also recognising when something can be done better, and acting on it
  • Team player, easy to work with, and reliable under pressure
  • Experience with customer support platforms is highly preferred
  • Background in sustainable mobility, or another technical product environment, is a plus

What We Offer

  • €2,623 – €2,886 gross per month based on a 40-hour week, excluding 8% holiday allowance (pro-rated for 24 and 32-hour contracts)
  • Flexible contract hours: 24, 32, or 40 hours per week, evenly distributed across days
  • Pension plan fully covered by the employer; no employee contribution required
  • Daily vegetarian lunches, snacks, and drinks provided at the office
  • Full travel reimbursement
  • Hybrid working: minimum 2 days per week in the Amsterdam office; weekend shifts can be worked from home
  • In-house availability hours run from 08:30 to 20:30, Monday to Sunday; shifts are assigned monthly based on submitted preferences
  • Premium pay of 125% after 20:00 and 150% on Sundays and public holidays
  • Year-round company events, an annual international team trip, and an all-company gathering
