The challenge

With no prior experience in the Dutch market, Swivelpole™ faced the task of establishing its European team from scratch. They needed guidance not just on recruitment, but on navigating Dutch business culture, employment regulations, and practical steps for hiring their first employees.

They sought a recruitment partner who would take the time to understand their business, adapt to their evolving needs, and prioritise the right hires over quick placements.

Adding to the challenge, Swivelpole™ had yet to confirm its Dutch office and warehouse location when recruitment began. The initial scope was for two sales roles, Sales Support Representative and Business Development Manager, requiring fluency in Dutch and English, and ideally, proficiency in a third language.
