Are you a commercially driven, Polish-speaking sales professional based in the Netherlands, looking for a role where you can own a market and build long-term customer relationships with real autonomy? We are looking for a Sales Account Manager Poland, on behalf of our client, a Dutch wholesaler of used internal transport equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Territory Management

  • Take full ownership of the Polish market and manage an established database of trade customers, dealers and resellers through regular phone and email contact
  • Identify commercial opportunities within the existing customer base and convert consistent contact into sales
  • Develop and implement your own approach to the market: how to prioritise accounts, how often to be in contact, and how to grow relationships, with full autonomy over the strategy
  • Maintain long-term, trusted relationships with Polish trade customers, providing consistent and reliable service

New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new trade partners in the Polish market where opportunities exist
  • Build awareness of the company's stock and capabilities among potential new dealer customers

Field Activity

  • Travel to Poland approximately twice a year for in-person customer visits, combining multiple accounts per trip (roughly 3-day trips)
  • Participate in relevant international trade fairs and industry events as a company representative

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with internal departments, including purchasing, logistics, and administration, to ensure smooth order handling and follow-through for Polish customers
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Polish customers and the wider organisation, with backup coverage arranged during holidays

Qualifications & Skills

  • Near-native Polish speaker with professional working proficiency in English
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, account management or sales support
  • Commercially driven and proactive by nature, sales should feel like something you genuinely want to do
  • Capable of managing a full customer database independently, without needing daily direction on priorities or activity
  • Comfortable making outbound calls, following up persistently, and having direct conversations, including pushing back on customer requests where needed
  • Long-term commitment mindset
  • Willing to travel to Poland approximately twice a year for short customer visit trips
  • A background or genuine affinity with technical products, machinery, vehicles, or the industrial and logistics sector is an advantage, but not a requirement

What We Offer

  • Salary range of €3,500 – €4,500 gross per month, depending on experience, excluding 8% holiday allowance
  • 25 vacation days per year plus 13 ADV days, giving a total of 38 days of leave annually
  • Collective pension scheme
  • €0.23 per kilometre commuting reimbursement from day one
  • After 6 months: a choice between a mobility allowance or a company car
  • Bi-annual performance bonus based on both company results and individual contribution (discretionary)
  • Comprehensive onboarding and training period with close support from the Sales Manager and wider team
  • Sole ownership of the Polish market with full autonomy over your commercial approach
  • International working environment with colleagues from diverse national backgrounds
  • 1-year contract directly with the client, followed by an extension or permanent contract based on performance
