Are you a highly organized individual with strong administrative skills and a passion for fast-paced commercial environments? On behalf of our client, a global consumer products manufacturer based in the heart of Amsterdam, we are looking for a Sales Administrator for a short 3-month project.
This role will provide support to account managers across Germany, Australia, Switzerland and Southern Europe, serving as a single point of contact for each region. The role also supports office management procedures and sample management operations, contributing to revenue generation through administrative and operational support.
Please note: We can only consider candidates who are already based in the Netherlands, and are NOT currently employed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sales support to account managers including filling out spreadsheets, uploading information to customer websites, and providing administrative assistance
- Sample management including ordering samples from the warehouse, tracking delivery, and ensuring samples reach offices and customers
- Handle direct retailer communication by email, including sending documents, responding to queries, and following up on outstanding matters
- Filling out customer setup forms with technical information such weight and dimensions of products; updating customer details on forms
- Work closely with warehouse operations and sales coordinators on site
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales support, sales coordination, or a similar administrative role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent the company professionally in all retailer and internal interactions within a B2B environment
- Professional fluency in English- German is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and prioritize independently
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency across the broader MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
What We Offer:
- Salary €3,200-€3,600 gross per month, including 8% holiday allowance
- A direct contract of employment for 3 months
- Hybrid working: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in the office; Monday and Friday work-from-home
