Our client, an international company within Tax & Legal Services, is looking for Senior Accountant/Financial Controller fluent in Dutch and experienced enough to combine strategic financial insight with a hands-on approach. This is a key role in managing the company’s financial reporting, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and establishing a solid financial framework to support their expanding business. It reports to and partners with the CFO for process optimization, creating a future proof finance organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Own and execute the full financial reporting cycle – monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting

Ensure accurate bookkeeping across five business entities

Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets and monitor cost allocations, and intercompany transactions

Ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP and local tax obligations

Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Hands-on experience with day-to-day accounting and general ledger, as well as strong knowledge of Dutch accounting standards

Solid Excel skills and experience with Exact software

Language skills: Professional Dutch speaker and fluent in English
