Are you a passionate and accomplished Industrial designer with experience in consumer electronics, and the ability to understand and translate latest fashion into iconic products?
Our client is a distinguished leader in the audio consumer electronics sector, originally from the US and based in Amsterdam. We are looking for an immediately available Industrial Designer to join their human design team on a temporary assignment for 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct design brainstorming sessions
- Create concept designs in 2D and 3D formats
- Participate in user research activities
- Work on innovative and trend defining product concepts in collaboration with teams across the globe
- Work with design leaders in all phases of the design thinking process from concept, to strategic, to tactical, and implementation
What we are looking for:
- 2-3 years of experience in the field of industrial design with an impressive portfolio
- Experience in designing audio consumer electronics
- Solid knowledge of the design process from trend research and design strategy to concept development and manufacturing execution.
- Excellent 3D skills: fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite and 3D such as Rhinoceros and KeyShot
- Experience defining Materials, Colors, and Finishes
